    NEET 2018 Application Form

    NEET 2018 Exam will be released in the last week of January 2018. All the Interested candidates should check the Eligibility Criteria before applying for the post. All the candidates have to compulsory apply for the Exam online. Last date to do registration for NEET Exam will be in the third week of March 2018.     NEET 2018 Exam Pattern

    All the details about NEET 2018 Exam Pattern will be given below:

    No of Questions: The paper will consist of Total 180 Questions.
    Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted via Offline mode (also known as Pen and Paper mode).
    Type of Questions: Paper will consist of Objective Type Questions which consist of 4 options with one correct answer.
    Subjects: It consists of 4 subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany.
    Exam Duration: Duration of the Exam will be 3 hrs.
    Language: Question Paper will be available in two languages: English or Hindi.
    Marking Scheme: 4 Marks for each correct answer.
    Negative Marking: 1 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

    NEET 2018 Application Fee

    – Candidates belonging to UR & OBC Category have to pay
    Rs 1400, while Candidates belonging to SC/ ST Candidates should have to pay Rs 750.
    – Candidate can make payment using Debit/ Credit card, and Net banking. Apart from this, Candidates can also pay via E-Challan of any of the nationalized bank.

    NEET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

    Education Qualification:

    • Candidate should have qualified the 12th or equivalent exam.
    • Candidate should have completed 12th having Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as a Compulsory subject.
    • In case, the student doesn’t have passed 12th in the mentioned subjects, then he/ she should have to pass B.Sc. from Indian University Exam. Candidate should have passed B.Sc. in above-mentioned two or more subjects in order to apply for NEET 2018 Exam.
    • Candidate belonging to General should have obtained at least 50% marks, for General-PH Candidates should have got 45% marks and for all SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates should have obtained at least 40% marks.

    Age Limit: Minimum age limit for all the candidates who want to appear for the Exam is 17th years. Maximum age limit is 25 years for General Candidates and 30 years for all the SC/ ST/ OBC Category candidates.


    • Candidates should be an Indian Citizen. All the Overseas Citizen of India can also appear for the post.
    • Candidates belonging to J&K, Telangana & Andra Pradesh are Eligible for All India 15% Quota Only.
    • Aadhaar Card is must in order to appear for the NEET 2018 Exam.

    NEET 2018 Syllabus

    NEET syllabus will be provided as decided by the MCI (Medical Council of India). NEET exam will consist of basically 4 subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. For the preparation of the NEET 2018 Exam, all the students should refer to the 11th and 12th Standard books which are published by NCERT.

    NEET 2018 Admit Card

    All the candidates who have registered successfully will be able to download NEET 2018 Admit Card. Admit card for all those candidates will be available from 1st week of April 2018. All the candidates can download the Admit Card from the Official website of NEET. Admit Card will consist of details such as Candidate Name, Father Name, Category, Photograph, Roll Number, Exam Date & Timing, Exam center, etc. Candidates are advised to have multiple copies of Admit card in order to avoid any kind of emergency.

    NEET Answer Key 2018

    NEET Answer Key will be released within a week of the Exam. Answer Key will be available on the Official website. All the candidates have an Opportunity for Online Challenge against the Answer Key. For one answer, Candidate has to pay Rs 1000. If Challenge is accepted, then payment will be refunded to the candidate.

    NEET Result 2018

    Later on, NEET Result will be available on the Official website. All the students can check the Result from the website by entering their roll number and other details as required. Apart from the result, merit list of all the students will be made as per the rules of Honorable Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI & DCI.

    NEET Cut-Off 2018

    Cut-Off is the minimum marks required in order to clear the Examination. Cut-Off is made on the basis of a number of students appeared in the Exam, Difficulty Level, and Total availability of seats. It will be available from the month of June 2017. Minimum Qualifying marks are mainly 50% for all General Candidates, 45% for all General-PH Candidates and 40% for all the other reserved category candidates.

    NEET Counselling 2018

    All the students who have appeared for the NEET 2018 Exam can participate in the Counselling process as per their rank. Counselling of all the students belonging to 15% All India Quota will be organized by MCC of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) via online mode. Couselling of all the other students will be made by the respective authorities.

    At the time of counselling, students have to pay the counselling fee and chose their preference for the colleges. Later on, seats for all the students will be available as per the filled choices, rank and availability of seats in the respective colleges. Lastly, candidates will have to appear at the allotted college and then complete the process.
